“Never again” Antisemitism Legal Fund

Five Jewish students and former students are standing up to the antisemitism and racism they experienced at Brighton Secondary College. This case is seeking justice for the applicants and others who suffered significant racism and anti-Semitism at the school.
‘The students, all of Jewish descent, are seeking damages for alleged breaches of their human rights and of the Racial Discrimination Act. Four of the five students have said in a statement of claim filed with the court that they left the Melbourne bayside school prematurely to escape the alleged serial racist abuse and discrimination that occurred between 2013 and 2020 and the school’s repeated failure to protect them or discipline perpetrators.’

The lawsuit is brought by the former students at the school who are represented by Cornwalls on a “no win no fee” and partly pro-bono basis. We are asking for help through this GoFundMe to cover the cost of the significant out of pocket expenses and disbursements associated with the lawsuit.
All funds donated will be held in a trust and applied to the costs of the litigation.
