Never Out Of The Fight

Hi, my name is Kara Case. On Sunday, September 25th, I will be running the Chicago Half Marathon for the first time. Throughout my training, I kept thinking, why am I doing this? Every run, I have the same motivation and drive pushing me through. I realized that I am doing this not only for myself, but I want to do this for all first responders, veterans, and those who are serving our country. Thank you to the men and women that serve our country because they are the ones that push me to keep going and not give up every day.
Thank you for putting your lives on the line every day to keep us safe. Every day you wake up and get ready to serve our country, you risk your life knowing there is a chance you might not come home. You run towards the things that most people run away from. Please know your hard work, dedication, and bravery don't go unrecognized. Thank you!
If you know anyone who is a first responder, veteran or serving our country, please write their name below if you choose to donate. I am creating a shirt for my half marathon so that I can run with the names of loved ones on my back. When I feel like giving up, each name on my back will motivate me to keep going.
I wish I could donate to many more charties, but I chose to pick one for this run. All donations will go towards the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation, and any donation will help make an impact. Thank you in advance for contributing to this cause, which means so much to me and many others.
