New 20hp Outboard for Veterans' Boat

We searched and searched for a Veteran-Based organization and found one based only about an hour north of our shop. The Croton Sportsmen for Youth and Disabled Veterans is a non-profit organization that works with volunteers, sponsors, and donors to give Veterans much deserved time in the outdoors. The CSYDV buses Veterans from the Veterans' Home in Grand Rapids, MI to lakes where they can spend the day fishing and enjoying time on the water.

We restored this 17' pontoon boat to sell, but we felt a great push to donate it instead. It had an outdated and unreliable motor on it that was stolen from outside of our shop. In order to donate the boat we need to purchase and install a new 20hp four stroke outboard so that the organization can have trouble-free days out on the water. We originally planned for a Suzuki outboard, but issues with availability may change the brand installed. We've covered the costs of buying the boat and materials, and the time spent restoring it completely, but now we need your help to cover the cost of the new outboard and put some finishing touches on this boat and the others in their fleet.

Any additional funds that we can raise beyond the goal of $4500 will go directly the The Croton Sportsmen for Youth and Disabled Veterans as a check to help cover their costs of operation.
