New Beginning for Alyssa Jackson

Hello many of you know that on September 15, 2019 my 18 yr old daughter Alyssa Jackson was in a terrible car accident. Her car went over a bridge down a 30 feet embankment and then caught on fire. If it was not for the grace and mercy of GOD putting an off duty firemen on that same road she would not be here today. She suffered a FX Femur, broke T4, T5 in her spine. She spent 7 days in the ICU, 5 days of stabilization, then we were transferred September 27th to The Shepherd Center. We are here now to start here Rehabilitations and to get her back functional. So far everyone here has been so wonderful with her adjusting. As of right now she has no feeling past her upper abdomen area. She has been so positive thust far about her rehabilitation. Well her Case Manager asked me “ will you be able to provide her with the care she will need at home, the wheelchair Accessibility at your home and all other personnel care she will need.” I spoke out on faith and said YES!! because I know that I have family, friends, and Co-workers that are on stand by to help me. Everyday since her accident are not good days for me, my tears fall every other day. But FRIENDS, FAMILY, And NEW FRIENDS I WILL NEED HELP. All these adjustments that I will have to make to my house and to my finances I can’t do it alone. If you have a $1 to give I THANK YOU FOR IT.
