Three years ago my wife and I took our life time passions/hobby and work and from literally nothing created Sport Zone Veresegyház. A sports venue where kids and adults could try something completely different, Aerial Gymnastics and BMX Flatland. We have been truly amazed by how many people are now sharing our passions and are enjoying every minute at Sport Zone. Just three months ago we became an official Sports Club as well as being the only indoor BMX Flatland facility in Hungary and one of very few in Europe. During the three years we have built and brought together a great community in Veresegyház for families and friends enjoying sport and reaching amazing levels of accomplishments in both BMX and Aerial Acrobatics.

It is with heavy hearts we have to announce that from the end of March 2020 Sport Zone Veresegyház will be closing. If the corona virus wasn't already enough the owners of the venue "Triangolo" have now sold the building and the new owners will be knocking it down. Last summer we invested countless hours and over 3 million HUF to make it bigger and better. We had our best BMX contest so far last November (Hungarian Championships and International event) and had great plans for 2020. For me personally (Rob Alton) I have dedicated all my time and energy in to the BMX Suli and event organisation as well as still performing my shows of which most of that money has gone into Sport Zone and the sport I have loved for well over 30 years. It was my way of giving back to the sport, after all that the sport has done for me and my family. Since we got the news it has been a very difficult and emotional time for us.
All funds raised will go towards building an even better Sport Zone as soon as possible in Veresegyház.
Just take a few minutes to see what riders have achieved, both the kids and the adults!
