New Car for Homeless Veteran with a Job
Donation protected
Team Pulte and Code of Vets are working together to raise funds for Horace Scott (friends just call him Scott) who served in the US Army from 1979-1982. Scott worked two jobs in Louisiana at a hospital and in a restaurant. His hours were cut which led to him falling behind on rent, being evicted, and ultimately becoming homeless. For the past year and change Scott has been living at Camp NORA which is a transition home for homeless veterans. Scott has made significant progress and is now tasked with the role of Night Staff Manager that oversees the other veterans during those hours. He is very close to getting out of transition and back into regular life in hopes of a solid and secure long term future. He has been saving for a small studio apartment and a vehicle would allow him to have reliable transportation to a full time job which will help him no longer need to live penny to penny.
Please consider helping us reach reach our goal to get Scott back on his feet. Any questions reach out to @Pulte, @CodeofVets, or @Philanthropy_PA
