New Carnival IW Mardi Gras support for schools and groups

Donation protected
The Isle of Wight Mardi Gras on Saturday 6th July is a joyful celebration of creativity and education. This year's theme is 'The Story of Carnival', 25 schools and community groups will be taking part in a learning and creativity programme where they research their topic, design their costumes, make their costumes and perform in the Mardi Gras parade.

New Carnival thank all the people who volunteer their time and efforts to making the Mardi gras happen- you make magic!
New Carnival is entirely grant funded a non- profit Community Interest Company. Year on year, our costs go up, our core funding does not.
If you are able to donate to New Carnival we would be most grateful, even small amounts count. Your donation will ensure that we can continue to provide free family events and creative opportunities for adults, children, and young people, engaging communities.
For example:
£5- enables us to provide a whole carnival costume for a child.
£20- A ferry ticket which can enable visiting performers to take part in the parade.
£50- Delivers a carnival inspiration session for a school or community group.
£100- Provides carnival materials for a whole group to make costumes or a prop
£300- A practical Carnival workshop, developing making and dancing skills for approx. 30 children or adults.
