New computer for Phil's 30th! (Surprise!!)

Friends and family!!

Philip’s 30th birthday is Sunday July 23rd (!!) and as many of you know who do ministry with him he is in pretty dire need of a new computer and interface ++. He’s pretty stubborn and won’t give up on his old stuff until it’s completely dead because he knows that it will be very expensive when he eventually has to upgrade his equipment.

He uses his laptop for all his live music as well as all his recording and producing. It's an older computer and is being completely overworked which causes unfortunate scenarios - here are some examples:

- Whenever we are recording vocals he has to hide his computer in a box in the closet because the fan is so loud it will be picked up by the mics

- His computer will crash from time to time during tracking sessions which makes the whole process very tedious. He'll then have to shut it down, wait until the computer is cold and restart everythin.

- He can’t let his computer get less than 100% charged because he can’t use it on stage while it’s charging, then it will crash. And the charger is so hot it honestly is a fire hazard and will burn your skin if you touch it..

I have told him that it is worth investing in proper gear since this is his full time occupation, but he is dragging his feet so much because he knows it will be such a huge purchase - not only the computer in itself that has to have a bunch of the extra specs, but he will also have to upgrade all his software etc as well because it is as outdated as his current computer - and we don't have the budget for all of this right now.

All in all it would be around $5000 for everything he’d need.

With his 30th birthady coming up I had the idea of creating this fundraiser to give the oportunity for whoever wants to sow into Philip as a musician, producer and intercessory missionary and give him the financial encouragement to invest in new equipment!

He doesn't know about this, so please don't mention anything to him so that it will be a surprise!! I know this will bless him so much!!
