NEW CORFE MULLEN COMMUNITY DEFIBRILLATOR

Having identified a suitable location for another community defibrillator, near the junction of Springdale Road and Wareham Road, I have been working with our Community First Responders and Neale Legge, owner and personal trainer at Fitness-Lab on Wareham Road. I’m incredibly grateful to them for their involvement in this project.

I approached Neale to see whether he and his landlord would be prepared to have a community defibrillator installed on the side of his studio and to have a defibrillator cabinet wired in. Both were happy to get involved.

Many residents know our Community First Responders and the great work they do. They have provided advice and information, regarding costings, which do not include employing a certified electrician to wire the cabinet.

Now the difficult bit. The fundraising to purchase a defibrillator, a defibrillator cabinet and employ a qualified electrician to install and wire up the cabinet.

This will be the third community defibrillator I have been involved with getting installed in Corfe Mullen. The first at our recreation ground (The Platinum Jubilee Fields) on the side of the Sports Pavilion and the second being located at the large Co-operative Store.
