New Earth Camping Trip for Systems-Involved Youth

New Earth Organization provides mentor-based arts, educational and vocational programs that empower juvenile justice system-involved youth to positively transform their lives.

We believe in the power of healing through nature, but many of our youth have never been given the chance to truly experience the outdoors, despite living only a few miles away from the beach and the mountains. Our Beyond Boundaries program allows our youth to explore and connect with the wilderness, offering them time for reflection and restoration before returning to their urban home environments. 

We, along with House of Stoked, are taking 15 of our youth on our annual 6-day camping trip to the Inyo National Forest, and for the first time, our youth will have the opportunity to receive a certificate in wilderness safety. We would thus like to raise $3,000 in order to provide our youth with a stipend for this training.
