New Faces New Needs

You can make a difference by donating today to The Donkey's Cross Rescue and Sanctuary. We have recently modified our model here at The Donkey's Cross and are refocusing our efforts on becoming a sanctuary for the donkeys in our care. With that modification comes some additional challenges - we won't be rehoming animals so we know that they will have a safe happy life, however that adds significant cost to our annual expenses. Rescue and rehabilitation is a challenge and comes with a cost, but without the donations from adoption the cost lives completely with the rescue and its supporters. We recently took in 3 new Minis urgently due to medical issues with their owner. Their owner was unable to care for them and reached out for help. They came to us a couple of weeks ago and will stay as residents and they have been adding significantly to our expenses since they stepped off the trailer. They each have their own story to tell but as a group they are starting a new story here at the Donkey's Cross
