New Fully Accessible Mini Bus for Holy Family Special School

On the 27th July myself Gregory and my Wife Mary will celebrate our 61st Wedding Anniversary in lieu of any celebrations I along with some Friends are planning a cycle. I am going to cycle my 1960's Raleigh Bike on The Boyne Valley to Lakelands Greenway. It is a 30km haven for pedestrians and cyclists, following the old railway line from Navan in Co. Meath to Kingscourt in Co. Cavan. All funds raised from the cycle will go to the Holy Family Special School Cootehill Parents Association who is currently raising much needed funds to secure a new minibus. The minibus is vital to help the children get out in the community and have the much needed experiences that they truly deserve. It is a cause close to my heart as my Grandson Shaun is a Student.

The school, which caters for pupils with severe and profound learning difficulties from the ages of four to 18, has become the prime special educational hub for both Cavan and Monaghan.
