New hearing aids for Kim
Donation protected
Back in December of 2016 I had lost one of my hearing aids. After spending many many months looking for it. I finally found half of it in the church parking lot in the spring. It had been ripped apart by the front end loader used to clear the snow in the lot.
I reported it to Connect hearing, the hearing aid company, and they said that it was off warenty and that I would have to buy a new set at a cost of $5,000.00 They were supposed to tell me when the warenty was just about up so that I could get insurrance for the hearing aids, but they never told me, thus they were not insurred.
I had been living with just the remaining hearing aid but it died 3 weeks ago leaving me with very little hearing.
It was suggested by Beltone that I go through WCB to get new hearing aids as my hearing damage was work related. WCB refused the claim. Beltone also wants $5,000.00 for a new set.
I have made an appointment with the hearing center at Costco as their hearing aids are about $2,000 cheaper than Beltone or Connect hearing.
For now I'll have to put the new hearing aids on my credit card as I just don't have the money to rebuy them. I'm still paying off the first set of hearing aids on the credit card.
If you could, would you please help me out with this so I once again can hear.
