New Heart and Lungs for Matthew Lineberry

Donation protected
Matthew is receiving a heart and lung transplant!

Matt was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension in 2004 when he was 14. Pulmonary hypertension is high blood pressure that occurs in the lungs and causes the right side of the heart to work harder than normal. We lost our mom Teri Lineberry to the disease in 2003. Matt has been such a fighter, but recently his condition has worsened. He is now in need of a new heart and lungs.

Only three places in the US can do this surgery, so Matt will be transferred very soon to Stanford University where he will wait for organs to become available. After the surgery, Matt will need to stay in California for 6 months to a year for the recovery process.

Matt has a great attitude and is ready to take on whatever comes his way. He is excited to live an adventurous life and can’t wait for his first non salt restricted meal! Your donations will help cover the cost of surgery and living arrangements during recovery. We are so grateful for your help and all the love and good thoughts sent his way.
