NEW HEATING FOR ST MARY'S KELLS CHURCH IN WHITEHAVEN

Our parish community would like to raise funds for a new heating in St Mary's Kells Catholic Church in Whitehaven. Unfortunately, due to life span it has completely broken down and in order to replace the current 11 condemned Drugasar gas wall heaters, it will cost £20,000. Our parish is not big in numbers, but holds a special place in everyone's heart and is very important to our local community. The children from St Mary's Primary school always attend the church on various occasions and this year were unable to host their Nativity there, due to this. Sunday mass is now hosted in the local club as the church is very cold inside. We would all really like to resume the Churches normal activities and be able to be there for all of the important celebrations. Any help, big or small will be greatly appreciated to achieve this goal. Many thanks for your unceasing generosity from all of the parish.
