New Hilltop Lakes Ambulance Fund
Tax deductible
Hilltop Lakes Fire and EMS, located in Hilltop Lakes, Texas, serves the residents of Leon County ESD 2. The residents of Hilltop Lakes and ESD 2 are currently served by a MICU (Mobile Intensive Care Unit). This 2013 Chevy ambulance has 140,000 hard miles, mechanical issues and many years of wear and tear. Although the ambulance is still functional, there is no promise that a unit in this condition can continue to provide quality services for years to come. The NEED for a new unit and it’s components has become evident and a top priority. Now that the unit has developed numerous mechanical and electrical problems the community could lose the assistance needed to save lives! Our community which is mostly of the elderly, rely on our services. The nearest Trauma Center and Cardiac Center is no closer than 45-50 miles from Hilltop Lakes, our residents count on us. To continue to serve the residents of Leon County and ESD 2, This page has been developed by Hilltop Lakes Assistant Fire Chief Santiago Guerrero with a goal to raise the funds to purchase a new ambulance with updated stretcher, cardiac monitor and Advanced Life Support equipment. Our goal is to reach $325,000 to continue to serve our community with the best quality patient care that we can provide. In two years the department has held multiple fundraisers in Hilltop Lakes and have raised just over $14,000. Our community has helped by donating as much as they can, it is time we reach out further to gain more donations. If you have any questions please contact us via Facebook on our Hilltop Lakes Fire and Rescue page.
You can also mail us a check made out to the Fire Department designated to the ambulance fund.
