Air Cadets - New ISO container to replace our old leaky one!

Dear Supporters,

We are reaching out to you on behalf of the dedicated young cadets of the 2407 (Yateley & Eversley) Squadron Air Cadets. Our mission is to provide invaluable experiences and training opportunities to our cadets, empowering them with skills and values that will last a lifetime.

Unfortunately, we are facing a significant obstacle in achieving this mission. Our current ISO container, which houses all of our adventure training tents and gear, has become a victim of time and weather. It's no longer providing the safe and dry storage environment our equipment desperately needs. The damp and mould have taken their toll, affecting the quality of our equipment and, most importantly, the experiences we can offer our cadets.

As you may know, the Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE) program is a cornerstone of our cadet activities. It offers young people a chance to challenge themselves, develop resilience, and explore the great outdoors. But with our equipment in its current state, we are unable to provide the level of support and safety our cadets deserve during their DofE adventures.

That's why we're turning to you, our community, for help. We've launched this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds to replace our deteriorating ISO container and rescue our adventure training equipment from the clutches of mould and dampness. With your generous support, we can ensure that our cadets have access to safe, dry, and reliable equipment, enabling them to fully immerse themselves in the DofE program and other outdoor activities.

Your donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference in the lives and experiences of our cadets. It will help us continue to provide high-quality training and experiences that shape them into confident, responsible, and resilient young leaders.

We are a registered excepted Charity, our number is XT7537. Our Cadets raise money to fund equipment and our Civilian Committee look after and ensure our raise funds are spent wisely on the Cadets to enable activities.
