New Jersey Schnauzer Rescue - Please help Maggie
Tax deductible
Maggie came into rescue in June 2021. She was 1 year old, small, scrawny, and had terrible diarrhea. We attributed that to the fact that she was tied up outside in the heat with no water and was only fed apples because the owner had no money. She went into a foster home and with their TLC and a number of vet visits, she seemed fine. The diarrhea did last a while but she has become a healthy and frisky pup.
Flash forward to last week - Maggie's health has declined rapidly. She got diarrhea and it hasn't stopped. She was at the regular vet a few days and then since this Monday, she's been at the emergency vet. They have gotten Maggie supported with all the usual meds. She is now up and walking but still has diarrhea. They gave her steroids yesterday and today. The vet is still not sure of the diagnosis.
The vet bills are staggering.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give Maggie. Any donation will go directly to pay Maggie's vet bills.
