New kennels for Richland County Ohio Dog Shelter

Hi there! I would like to introduce you to Edgar. He is one of the many incredible dogs we have at the Richland County Ohio Dog Shelter, available for adoption. Edgar is the sweetest happiest boy and loves to play or go for walks. However, as you can see going back into his kennel is not a great experience. Not only does he have to go back into his kennel - but his kennel is not in the greatest condition. Due to the overcrowding at the shelter, we have had to use every kennel available to house the pups that continue to come in steadily. We are looking to raise money to replace these kennels so that these pups can at least have a nicer place to stay until they find their furever homes. These pups cannot even have anything to lay on as there are gaps/holes on the back wall of the kennels. I know that we have an absolutely amazing community out there and we are asking to please help us make the lives of these babies a little more comfortable during their stay. We recently had some of the other kennels replaced so there are no funds to replace these at this time. Please help us make this happen for these pups. All funds will go directly to the Richland County Dog Shelter and our dog warden Missy Houghton to ensure that these get replaced.
