New Kidney for Brendon

Donation protected
Brendon was diagnosed with a rare kidney disease in 2011. Since then, he has been on a journey to get healthy and prepare for a kidney transplant. He has gone through 5 years of dialysis, a significant weight-loss and bariatric surgery.

In September 2017, Brendon was officially placed on the kidney transplant list. Brendon and Joneé are praying for a living kidney donor as this will greatly decrease the wait time for his new kidney. It could be a few days or several years, but we’re praying for a live donor and a short wait time.

For those who are willing to be tested to see if you are an eligible donor, you don’t even have to have Brendon’s exact blood type to qualify. They will do a “trade”. For example: You get tested for Brendon & don’t match him. At the same time, someone else gets tested for their sister. They don’t match their sister, but they match Brendon...and you match the sister. If the donors are ok with it, they will do a trade. All it takes to get the process started is a willing heart and to make the phone call to the number in the picture above. Please be praying with us for God to place Brendon’s name and story on the heart of the perfect donor.

In addition to your prayers, your financial support is much appreciated. We have set up this GoFundMe page to help offset the medical expenses Brendon & Joneé will incur in the weeks and months ahead. Brendon will not only have medical bills for his kidney transplant, but he will also need to cover living expenses after his surgery, loss of income due to the time he will be out of work and the cost of his donor’s travel, surgery and recovery time. To date, his medical expenses have already begun to add up, so this is an opportunity to be the Hands and Feet of Christ and bless this couple who has blessed and enriched so many of our lives!
