New Love for Cosmo

Dear Friends,

Thank you for sharing sweet Cosmo’s smile and story. He now has so many fans around the country!

He has found love. But no home yet.

I know he is missing my mom. He waits in her house each day. He is waiting for her to return.

I keep telling him she loves him endlessly, but she won’t be returning home. I keep promising him it’s ok, he’s ok, and he will land in a new home, in new love.

I know it’s a big deal to adopt a senior pitbull, especially one who prefers to be an only dog. It’s a lot. Several people have said they would love to take him if they could afford to care for him.

I would like to turn all the love for Cosmo into funds for Cosmo. My hope is to reward someone for adopting this precious hunk. We will channel the funds into gift certificate for Chewy or to a local vet for Cosmo's care.

ABOUT COSMO

This gorgeous chunk of pure love is COSMO. My mom adopted him from the local shelter about a year ago. He was one of the pups who kept getting overlooked.

She adores him to the moon and back. She is now in a nursing facility, needing longterm care following a fall, and she can no longer keep him.

But I am not giving up! I believe between us we can find Cosmo the home he deserves.

Here are some facts:

1) Cosmo is a 7-year-old pitbull mix in the Eastern Panhandel of West Virginia.

2) He wiggles with unbridled joy and smiles with his whole entire body when you say his name.

3) He can barely contain his happiness when someone actually pets him!

4) He has so much love to give.

5) He is so eager for love.

6) He can get along ok with other dogs and cats, but he would really thrive as an only pup.

7) Every penny from this fundraiser will go to Cosmo’s new family.

8) He will love you forever, and I will, too.
