New Medical Bed for Paralyzed Teen Wrestler
Donation protected
Hi my name is Lauren Sweers and I am fundraising for my nephew Harrison. Harrison is 15 and lives in Noblesville, IN. He is a smart, a sports lover, an athlete and a good kid with a bright future. During a wrestling meet in December, a routine move resulted in a spinal injury at C5/C6, leaving him paralyzed. He and his family have been on a journey ever since to get him the best medical care and best chances at regaining mobility. Despite many surgeries, a few near-death experiences and setbacks, Harrison remains positive, determined and focused. He believes he will walk again, and we believe it too! One step at a time he has overcome the odds, but the journey will be long. As the extent of his injuries are still largely unknown, his parents have done the best they can to modify their home and buy the equipment needed. As you can imagine, the unexpected expenses have been adding up and that is why we are asking for your help to purchase a medical bed. Without the bed, his parents will have to manually adjust him every two hours. A donation, no matter how large or small would help save him and his family this hardship. All money from this fund above and beyond the bed cost will directly support the cost of current and future medical bills, living expenses, and accessibility resources to make sure Harrison has everything he needs. If you have a little something to give, we would appreciate it! We are a family who gives back, so expect us to pay the kindness foward.
