(3 September 2021) We visited K-12 New Mercy Care Schools in Nairobi, Kenya
On 26 July 2023, Alice Boston from Goshen K. Orphanage in Kogelo visited K-12 New Mercy Care Schools in Nairobi, bringing hope, joy, and laughter to the schoolchildren. We plan to send orphans from Kogel to attend school in Nairobi.
On 24 February 2023, the school received donated water filters from SUKHI 222 founded by humanitarian and human rights activist Charles Holsopple to educate, advocate, and implement actions required for universal dignified access to fresh water, adequate nutrition, and secure shelter.
On 2 September 2021, we informed the school principal Joseph Kioko the night before the 8 am morning visit. The result was nothing but heartwarming! We listened to the schoolchildren's impromptu rendition of "Baby Jesus I Love You".
A small donation of $9 will feed one schoolchild for one month! New Mercy Care Schools provide elementary, primary, and secondary education. The K-12 schools educate, feed, and take care of 264 children and orphans from the Mathare slums in Nairobi, Kenya. We invite you to meet the teachers and schoolchildren aged 3 to 18 in this video.
