New Minibus for Ivel Valley School & College, Biggleswade

Ivel Valley School & College (ages 4-19) is an innovative special education provision located in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire. Our pupils are at the heart of everything we do; they learn alongside their peers in age-based, inclusive classes, where difference is recognised and celebrated.

We urgently need an additional minibus, and we require your support! Our goal is to raise £55,000 to purchase a new minibus that can accommodate 4 wheelchair uses at any one time, and an electric tail-lift. Minibuses at Ivel Valley are more than just transportation for our pupils; they are crucial resources that enables us to offer our pupils experiences they may not otherwise have. Educational trips provide valuable opportunities that enhance their learning journey and enrich their lives.

Our first minibus fundraising event is a collaborative initiative with Biggleswade FC. The Club undertake an annual sponsored walk from Biggleswade town centre to Biggleswade FC’s home ground at The Eyrie, Bedford, led by Phil Gullfer, Vice Chair. This year their chosen charity is Ivel Valley, thank you Biggleswade FC family!!
