New Roller Skating Rink in Los Angeles County

Hello, we are Cory and Leah and we are raising funds to cover the start-up costs for a black owned, family-friendly roller skating rink in the LA County area. We anticipate the rink to be open first quarter of 2024

About the Roller Skating Rink

This 34,000 square foot space, we will bring a fresh look to the world of indoor roller skating. With modern décor, a streamlined admission process, ample space for parties and events, and a top-of-the-line security team, this new roller skating venue will be a location for new and seasoned skaters to gather, skate, and celebrate in a fun and safe environment. The venue will also serve as an integral part of the community by supporting local sports teams, schools, and businesses through fundraising efforts and housing summer camps for kids.

The funds raised will complement our personal investment and support start-up cost including but not limited to: building permits, construction costs and materials, integrated IT software systems, flooring and infrastructure, and rental equipment.

About Us

Born and raised in Southern California by two professional roller skaters, Cory has roller skated all over the world and dreamed of owning a roller skating rink since the age of 5. He is an avid skater in the Los Angeles area and after seeing multiple rinks close in the area, he is further fueled to bring updated amenities to a roller skating rink to ensure its longevity in LA County. As a 17-year tenured business owner, Cory owns and operates a private Strength & Conditioning Gym and hosts a Youth Sports Academy ages 10-18. Through this venture, he has trained and worked with thousands of families in the community and he recognizes the need to provide a safe space for kids and teens to be more physically active.

His wife Leah, a So Cal transplant, is a roller skating newbie whose background in civil engineering and interior design adds the tangible and intangible genius to the roller skating rink design and construction. Her superior project management experience and analytic skill set pair extremely well with Cory’s passion and has helped bring this dream to life.
