New skating rink, gym and Internet Cafe in 24482
Continuing fundraiser for Steve Rudolph to lease a building and build a new skating center and travel sports gym for basketball, volleyball, indoor soccer, field hockey, lacrosse, and other sports; for the youth in our community. The Center will also house an Internet Cafe'; for student athletes and their families to have a place to have internet access and study; and a broadcasting center for coverage of district high school sports and academics; as well as a Part 15 AM Station for the Verona and surrounding communities. This station will pair with an online station that will re-connect Steve and his former roller rink audience; with podcasts and music; to relive good times, memories, and create a positive listening experience that is good for morale, and happiness.
Lastly, Included in the money, is relief funding for Woof-167; which was severely impacted by the closing of the schools due to Governor Northam's policies so that Steve can continue to serve the athletics community and the students in a mentoring and sports administration (announcing, music, broadcasting) role; funding that was not offered by the SCCF and the ACBOS when applied for, but was offered to others.
Overall, the Center and it's ventures will provide a lasting positive impact on the ,lives of the youth,as well at the the lives of former rink users; and provide the world with a new rim, and audio processor, designed by Steve. In the future, our corporate sponsors will help the Center expand into indoor softball and arena facilities; hosting AAU National, VHSL and IAAS contests, as well as concerts and community events.,
