Help Us Buy New TPS Track and Field Uniforms!

At Thomas Prince School, we are so fortunate to have a vibrant and enriching Cross Country and Track and Field program. Under the guidance of our phenomenal coach, Larry Pistrang, these middle school athletes are learning about running techniques, developing their confidence, meeting healthy physical and mental challenges, and actively respecting and supporting their teammates, their competitors, and themselves. In the past two years, our runners have held their own in competition, with XC girls finishing first at the State Championship tournament.

What our team lacks is pretty basic - decent uniforms! Our runners don't require a lot of fancy equipment or gear (we like to say we put the "field" in track and field!), but we do need a complete collection of race singlets that showcase our fantastic group of kids. The ones we have now are quite old and faded, and for our large Track and Field team, there aren't even enough race singlets for every runner - many kids simply run in TPS t-shirts or wear red to show team spirit. A new collection of updated uniforms would help the kids feel like the strong, cohesive team that they are, and would showcase our runners when they compete against other schools.
