New Tupton Ivanhoes U13 girls

New Tupton Ivanhoe U13 Girls play in the 3rd Division of the Sheffield and Hallamshire Women and Girls League.

New Tupton Ivanhoe's Girls were established in 2019 and originally played in the NDFYL against boys or mixed teams. The girls had little football experience and this was reflected in their first season when the score line was usually in double figures (not in our favour). Despite defeat after defeat the girls always came off the pitch smiling and were never phased, they just loved playing football with each other. Covid hit in 2020 hindering the football development of the girls but the team remained strong and worked extra hard when training could resume.

Due to the lack of a girl's league in Derbyshire the girls continued to play in the NDFYL. The team did improve and we began to win the occasional game but the NDFYL did not feel right for the girls. It was at the end of the 21/22 season that the decision was made to enter the Sheffield and Hallamshire Women and Girls League. This was the best decision that could have been made, the girls have thrived in this league and were undefeated,earning promotion into Division 3 for 23/24 season.

New Tupton Ivanhoes FC is a real community spirited club and are often involved in community events.

As a team we are trying to raise funds and would like to help out in the local community while doing this.

On Sunday 22nd October our girls will be litter picking around Tupton, followed by a six mile walk!
