NEW YORK CITY RIDING ACADEMY NEEDS YOU

The New York City Riding Academy needs your help.  NYCRA, located on Randall’s Island in New York City’s East River.  For over 25 years the Academy has brought the horseback riding experience to New Yorkers.  As a not-for-profit organization, raising funds to keep the program running and maintaining the facility is always a challenge.  On the Academy grounds are the Academy Office, horse stables, tack room, and hay storage.  All of these structures have been badly damaged or eroded from storms such as Superstorm Sandy and Isaias and overall wear and tear.  We need your help to raise funds to make the needed major repairs/replacements.

 Academy Office
-          Wooden access ramp to office needs to be replaced
-          Wooden stairs and entrance deck need to be replaced
-          Permanently fix emergency patches from water damage

Horse Stables
-          Stable doors are broken
-          Patches need to be permanently repaired from erosion
-          Stall floors need repairs

Tack room
-          Repairs to the structure from erosion and water damage
-          Wooden stairs need to be replaced

Hay Storage
-          Walls need to be replaced from water damage

Grounds
-          New fencing for riding arenas
