By the people, for the people

The New York Encounter is a free three-day cultural event in the heart of New York City supported by volunteers, and financially by friends, as a place to build from the ruins of division and hurt in our culture. This year’s theme, “Something to Start From”, brings to light, through witnesses and dialogue, the beauty that arises from some of our most difficult moments. From the massacre at Sandy Hook, to the epidemic of loneliness, with your help, we’ll unite to discuss the possibility of experiencing a new beginning, through Christian Hope, following the great ruin. 

This great event could not happen without your financial support and the hundreds of volunteers who bring it to life. Please help us to ensure this beautiful event continues to occur in 2019 and beyond!

The 2019 edition takes place on Friday, February 15 - Sunday, February 17, 2019 (Presidents' Day weekend) at the Metropolitan Pavilion,  125 West 18th Street (between Sixth and Seventh Ave), New York.

All events are free of charge and open to the public.
