Newark RUFC Under 16's Armistice Rugby Tour

We are seeking sponsorship to contribute to our under 16 Rugby team, where many players have participated since the age of 5 and are entering their final year of junior Rugby.

We are aiming as a pinnacle of the team's endeavours over the years an exciting opportunity to go on a final tour as a junior squad to France in October 2025. The Tour combines educational and sporting elements, the players will visit and learn about historic Armistice sites and their significance in the World Wars, alongside playing matches against teams from around the world.

To make this possible we are approaching local businesses that value community engagement and youth development, to donate to our fund, in conjunction with the squad engaging in fundraising activities including a cycling event at Sherwood Pines, where the total journey distance travelled during the tour will be covered by each member of the squad, who will then undertake a tree planting challenge, to plant 100 tree saplings which will more than offset the carbon footprint of the Armistice tour, making our trip carbon neutral.
