Newborn granddaughter in NICU at Duke Hospital

My name is Felisha, I’m asking for donations for my daughter, her boyfriend, and their newborn baby who is in the NICU at Duke University Hospital in Raleigh, NC. She was transported to Duke the day after she was born a few days ago bc her heart is on the wrong side of her body and the valves and things on her heart aren’t placed right so they can’t transport oxygen throughout her body like it needs to to. She has to have a surgery for this. Also, her right lung didn’t have room to develop all the way so she has to have to have lung surgery also. The ct scan showed that her right lung is smaller than it should be because her heart is on the right side of her chest. also showed that she only has 1 lobe in her right lung. a normal set of lungs has 2 lobes on the left and 3 on the right where hers only has 1 in the right lung. also during my pregnancy where it showed on the ultrasound what they were thinking was a mass beside her right lung , the ct scan showed that it is a sequestration on her right lung which is a cystic piece of abnormal lung tissue that doesn't function like normal lung tissue which means she will probably have to have surgery on her lung . so the cardiac surgeons are putting their heads together to figure out if they need to do the surgery on her lung first or her heart or if the lung will effect the heart surgery. The last few paragraphs are a text from my daughter as to what the surgeons have told her. They are staying at the Ronald McDonald House right now. They have to pay for food and parking everyday, a few times a day. And, neither of them is working right now. They both have a job, however they are needing to be with the baby right now as you can see. Nobody expects this when you have a baby. My daughter and her boyfriend are not ones to ever ask anyone for help which is the reason I’m doing this for them. If you can find it on your heart to help anything is appreciated..
