Newcastle RVI plastics and hand unit

Hi Becs and Noah here. Most people won’t know this, but Noah was born with webbed fingers, and since he was 4 months he has been under the care of the fantastic plastics team at Newcastle RVI. Last Monday, he had a 9 hour operation. As I left him sleeping in the theatre, I was struck by how many people were in that room, caring for him. I know that during this time the team worked tirelessly, not even stopping to eat. Noah is so precious to me and I am so humbled by the attentive care that he receives. I have often wanted to give a thank you gift to express my gratitude for every thing the team have done for Noah and now seems the perfect time to try and raise some money to help support this unit in the work they do. Noah is in double casts for the next month. Inside all his favourite play things have become impossible to use, and outside we have to be really careful he doesn’t get his hands wet or dirty. He is remarkable in that in the week since he has had his operation he has really started walking due to crawling being too painful. I have decided to take inspiration from his efforts and go on daily walks to raise money. Noah and myself are going to try and get out and about in our local area, and will share some of the wonders that we spot along the way. I would be so grateful if you could support us. Any donation no matter how small will be much, much appreciated. Many many thanks Becs and Noah.
