Deborah had a bike accident last fall and has been limping painfully ever since. She recently learned that her hip has severe arthritis so she now needs a new one.
Here's where you can help.
Hip replacements are very expensive surgeries. She has already accumulated $6,250 in medical debt to treat this condition. She has insurance but must pay premiums and high co-pays. Despite months of searching for FT work, she works 2 part-time jobs with low salaries and no sick or vacation benefits. She is paid hourly so if she doesn't work she doesn't get paid. She needs your help with the high medical bills but she also needs donations to pay basic bills until she can work again after the surgery.
Deborah has spent her life working for people with cancer, HIV/AIDS and other life threatening diseases and disabilties. She also participates in many fundraising bike rides throughout the year. Please help her get back to work and back on a bike.
