Help Us Find A New Home
Donation protected
Hello family & friends. On Saturday, February 11th at about 2:30pm, my family's house burned down. The house is beyond repair. The fire started in the kitchen and spred throughout the house destroying everything. Everyone got out of the fire safely and luckily no one was severely hurt, however my mother, brother, and sister have lost everything. This is a devastating loss for us. Our home, 2530 18th street, was a home for anyone, friends and family who needed a place to stay, the home where holiday dinners and celebrations were held for our whole family. Anyone who came to 2530 always found a home there, were always fed, and were always surrounded by love and family. This loss is not only ours, but of our friends and families as well. Many, including us, created our fondest memories there. We are currently looking for a new home. My family will need things like clothes, shoes, beds, basic toiletries, and so on but the costs of finding a new home and replacing all the things we have lost is a burden we can't get through alone. Our estimated damages along with costs of finding a new house is about $58,000 but we are only asking to raise less than half to get us started. Please everyone donate whatever you have and are willing to. If you are not able to, just share with as many people as possible, you never know who could help. Every little cent counts and would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your continuous support and being here during our time of need. Please keep us in your prayers and hope for a speedy recovery.
