Newington Green Action Group Emergency Appeal

We’re raising money for the Newington Green Action Group  and the Newington Green Food Hub .

All of the money you donate will go towards buying essential food and supplies for families affected by the Coronavirus. 

Newington Green Action Group is an all-volunteer, grassroots charity.

In early march, as it became clear that coronavirus was going to hit our community hard, we decided to focus our efforts on coordinating a community response to the virus and its effects.

Since then we have helped hundreds of residents and connected many more. Our latest project is the Newington Green Food Hub, a joint project with The Mildmay Club which provides food and essential supplies to people who need them. 

Any money we receive will go towards buying supplies. We have negotiated discounts with local shops as part of our efforts to support them as much possible. We won't be using Amazon.
