Newly Formed 4th Grade Tackle Football Team!!

What is this for? We are a start-up 4th-grade youth football team in the Dakota Ridge Youth Football program. And by start-up, this means a brand new team! We've got 14 boys on the roster, and for 11 of them, this is their first time ever playing tackle football. We are starting with the beginner basics of football. What is a snap, how to huddle up, how to line up, how to tackle, and most importantly, how to be a team. The goal of creating this new football team is to have an environment where the boys can have fun, learn the game, and develop bonds that will last into high school football and beyond. The bottom line...this is both a short-term and long-term goal.

We are very thankful for all the friends and teammates that have already donated used gear, footballs, and equipment. However, we still need several more items to make this season and future seasons memorable for the boys. This fundraiser will go to assist with the purchase of practice gear, tackling dummies, helmet logos, game socks, pink attire for breast cancer awareness, a team medical kit, and many more items. Most importantly, for all the remote family members & friends that cannot attend all the games, it will help to purchase a video camera system to record game action and make it accessible for viewing.

For every person who donates $100 or more, they will receive a custom Dakota Ridge Football t-shirt made by A5 Designs to wear in support of the team this year. Our game schedule will be posted once we have it, and we would love for everyone to come and support us this fall. Games will be played in the Littleton, Broomfield and Arvada areas.
