Newlyweds Sam & Shelby Koesling rented a Uhaul trailer and uprooted their lives and jobs in Oregon to start a new life together in Charleston, SC. At a stop along the way on the cross country trip, the contents of their Uhaul were stolen, including Shelby's wedding dresses, Sam's wedding ring, and all the equipment related to their photography business. To add insult to injury, thieves stole Sam's personal information and have already tried to use his bank and credit cards, so accounts have had to be frozen. They arrived in Charleston to move into an empty apartment with an empty Uhaul and no bank or credit cards. Family friends have organized this fundraiser to help these newlyweds get back on their feet to start their happily-ever-after in Charleston.
