Newport Christmas Cheer - Festive Lights Fund

Newport-on-Tay High Street is a Rising Star Award Winning small town centre in North East Fife. We have two free festivals a year. Food, Music & Fun for Mid-Summer and Christmas Cheer lights and late night shopping event. We require a funding boost to upgrade our current Christmas Lights, which have been funded by local fundraising efforts, grants and the local traders for many years. Each new motif light costs upwards of £800-£1000, plus annual storage, maintenance and installation. We would love to show our appreciation to the local community by showcasing a colourful and vibrant display over the festive period for years to come. We plan to use the funds raised to launch a series of design competitions to transform children's dreams into new lights, adding to our display every year. Thank you
