100% OF PROFITS WILL GO TO NEXT STEP
I am creating a fundraiser for Next Step because I wanted to impact the community. This will benefit all people associated with Next Step which is a program that helps young adults turn their lives around. If you donate that would mean the world to me and the Next Step community. It WILL affect someone's life for the better.
“The Next Step Program provides community-based stable housing and individualized case management services and supports with set goals and objectives for Geauga and Portage Counties young adults 18-24 who are victims of crime and have experienced trauma.
For many years, Geauga County social service professionals knew from experience that youth raised in non-supportive homes were at great risk of unemployment, homelessness, academic failure, pregnancy, etc. after they turned 18. Geauga County does not currently have sufficient housing to accommodate young adults as they transition to independent citizens. In addition, affordable housing for young adults in Geauga County is prohibitive, and landlords are reluctant to rent to this portion of the population.
During this pandemic, it is especially important that we support the homeless youth population and provide them with a safe place to live. Every donation will assist with rent, food, toiletries, and other necessities. The need is greater than ever!”
