Next Step for Seniors

Hello, my name is Joseph Khashola. I am running for Mr. Athens at Troy Athens High School. Mr. Athens is a fundraising event where contestants compete to raise the most money through charitable donations and hard work selling various items through the school week. This event is a part of Athens famous Charity Week, where the school works together to compile as much money as possible to donate to a charity chosen by our own students. In the past years, we have gained the attention of Fox 2 News and many other local news sources. The charity we have chosen this year is called Next Steps for Seniors. This nonprofit organization is dedicated to helping less fortunate seniors live their best life, provided proper housing and care.

I decided to run for Mr. Athens with the sole intent to raise as much money as I can for my community. I want to use my talents and platform to change the whole for good, one donation at a time. Since elementary, I have prided myself in my ability to lend a helping hand to those in need, and nothing has changed since. We can’t do it without your help!
