NEXT: Shipping and Supply Costs

Next Harm Reduction is a direct action response to drug user health inequity in the United States. Next is a mail-based harm reduction project that is working to meet the immediate needs of people who use drugs in rural and suburban communities across in the US.
NEXT Distro and Next Naloxone are both projects of Next Harm Reduction.
NEXT Distro (Needle EXchange Technology) is an online and mail-based harm reduction platform specifically designed to resource and educate people who use drugs that do not have access to traditional in-person harm reduction services such as syringe exchange, drug user health education, and drug-user specific medical and social service resources.
Next Naloxone is an online and mail-based opioid overdose response training platform that facilitates access to naloxone. We work to ensure that all people have accessible opioid overdose response training, and if they can not obtain naloxone in any other way- they may choose to enroll in our program to have it mailed to their address.
Currently, 93% of U.S. counties have no syringe access program. Online and mail-based harm reduction platform provides the most potential to 1) Connect with people actively using drugs across the United States, especially users living far from treatment centers and other facilities, 2) Provide people who use drugs with life-saving supplies, education, and support.
Special thanks to Tracey Helton and all the programs, activists, and colleagues who are doing mail-based work across the US. You've inspired this project.

Funds raised here will support shipping costs and harm reduction supplies.
We spend between $400-500 per month shipping supplies across the United States. Foundation funding is supporting personnel costs and website development. We need support for shipping.
Happy to talk with supporters interested in funding specific aspects of this project.
