Help Harley Get Surgery

Hi everyone! I hate having to ask for help, but if you know me then you know that Harley is my world. I would do anything for her, but I need some help with this one. You may have seen some posts about trying to treat a gnarly ear infection in her right ear for the past few months. Our vet, and the surgeon we consulted with, think she actually has a mass on her ear canal. There’s a chance it could be an infected salivary gland, but both require surgery as they are painful. We did her pre-anesthesia bloodwork and it all came back looking beautiful! Everyone agrees that she is in otherwise fantastic health, at the ripe age of 12. The first step is a CT scan, which requires anesthesia. The surgeon and vets strongly recommend being financially able to have her go straight to surgery after the CT to cut down on anesthesia, both for her health & financially. I took out Care Credit for as much as I was approved for ($3400) and have spent $800 of that between the labs and surgeon consult in the past week. This has been a tough year financially, with quite a few setbacks that I’m just starting to get caught up from, so I’m down to only a few options. I’m working to see if I can take another advance from my retirement (I had to earlier this year when I had to buy a new-to-me car) ((update: I was able to, but the max was $3500 bc of the other loan)) but if anyone is able to help at all, I would be eternally grateful. ❤️
For transparency: the CT is around $4,000 with anesthesia The TECA (total ear canal ablation - the most likely surgery needed) is around $6,000. I’m also looking into other surgeons who may be cheaper but so far there hasn’t been any that are drastically different that I can find.
