NF Fall Fund

Founded in 1975, Nietzsch Factor is Wesleyan's one and only competitive open ultimate team. The team has experienced a meteoric rise in recent years toward national prominence at the USAU Division III level. We intend to build on this storied history in our continued pursuit of a National Championship.
This brings us to our ask: we are in need of $2000 which will be directed at fulfilling an absence of institutional funding for the year's first Fall tournament, Jersey Devil, played from September 28th-29th in Vineland, NJ. This year, the school's Student Budget Committee (SBC) which fulfills funding requests for club sports' tournament fees and lodging will not be accepting budget requests until late September, forcing us to rely upon our own funds. According to our estimates, the outstanding expenses are as follows:
Tournament fee (Ultiment): $450 for a returnee, or $495 if paid after 9/20
6 hotel rooms for 24 rostered players for 2 nights (Friday September 27th, to avoid a 4:00am drive on Saturday, the 28th): around $1500
Our deadline to pay the tournament fee is soon approaching on the 20th, although we will request funds up until the date of the tournament when we will need to pay for our hotel. Any and all excess funds would go toward subsidizing Lobster Pot, another Fall tournament played outside of Portland, Maine during our semester break which the SBC does not cover.
Please help us get to Vineland so we can play our little hearts out!
Lots o’ luv,
