N.F.L. Tour

Like many inner-city youth, I had dreams of bettering my circumstances by becoming a professional athlete. I worked hard towards that dream and ended up getting a full athletic scholarship to Temple University, and eventually, onto the roster of five professional football teams. I thought that I had "made it out;" unfortunately, I suffered a concussion, which ultimately ended my football career.  As devastating as this was, I didn’t allow my not being able to play football to deter me from my ultimate goal; I want to help elevate the well-being of the members of my community.

Since returning back to my hometown of Hartford, Connecticut, I have found multiple ways to carry on my aspirations and spread my message of perseverance.  When I'm not working with students, either at one of the local elementary schools or at my alma mater, Hartford Public HS, I am working just as hard as the founder and CEO of Eli Joseph Real Estate.  Through this company, I am assisting those in Hartford, CT and its surrounding areas, by erasing much of the confusion and fear that can accompany the acquisition or sale of a property.

All of things are extremely important to me, but it is when I am engaging others as a motivational speaker, that I have found my niche. This is where I really get the opportunity to inspire people the way that I have always intended. Most recently, I had the opportunity to speak to a group of Entreprenuerial Studies students at Delaware Valley Charter School in Philadelphia, PA, as well as students at Dunbar High School in Baltimore, MD.  Each of these events allowed me to engage the attendees in a way that I feel truly will inspire them to look at the road ahead in a more positive light.  I want everyone to benefit from my message, and therefore, I want to go on the road.  

This is where you come in!  My plan it to go on a motivational speaking tour.  The N.F.L. (Not for Long) Tour is scheduled for 12 venues and I need your help to get me out to my different tour locations.  Any funds raised during this campaign will be used to directly fund my marketing efforts, to purchase giveways to be used at the engagements, as well as any necessary travel fees.

I truly believe in my message. I feel that there are so many others that can be inspired by my story; those who will walk away understanding that in spite of what may be going on in your immediate surroundings, you have the ability to make choices that will ultimately lead you along the path that you’d like to be on.
