NFP's campaign for Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund
Tax deductible
On November 8th, 15 NFP employees are about to have one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences of our lives. We are participating in a 12 hour GoRuck event to support the Semper Fi Fund. For those of you who do not know what a GoRuck event is, it is a 12 hour (overnight) hike with a weighted ruck (or backpack) led by a special forces Green Beret cadre that simulates special operations training.
You can help us make more of an impact. The participants in the event will be doing all the hard physically laboring work but you can make that more impactful by making a donation through our GoFundMe page to the Semper Fi Fund.
The Semper Fi Fund provides immediate financial assistance and lifetime support to combat wounded, critically ill and catastrophically injured members of all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families, ensuring they have the resources they need during their recovery and transition back to their communities.
Their assistance encompasses three main program areas:
- Service Member and Family Support: direct financial assistance and vital programming for injured service members and their families during hospitalization and recovery.
- Transition: education support and career assistance to provide service members with tools and skills to successfully reconnect with their communities and build new, productive lives.
- Integrative Wellness: targeted health and wellness services and resources with a special focus on PTSD and traumatic brain injury
Our goal is to raise $5,000 for this wonderful organization. Any donation big or small is greatly appreciated and will help us reach our goal.
Thank you
