Toni's Funeral Expenses

On February 4th our beloved Toni was taken from us after a brief bout with cancer. She was a loving and loyal wife of 47+ years, a wonderful mother to 5 daughters and an amazing grandmother and great grandmother.
About 3 weeks ago she complained of strong discomfort in her abdomen. She was admitted to the hospital, discharged then readmitted a second and final time 3 days later. During her initial visit numerous tests were conducted with no clear diagnosis given. It was during her second visit to the ER and subsequent admittance that she was diagnosed with stage 4 carcinoma. The prognosis was dire, as she was not a candidate for chemotherapy or surgery due to age and existing medical conditions. Our family was hopeful that something could be done and that we had time for a second and third opinion.
Unfortunately, that was not the case as she succumbed to this horrible disease less than two weeks after her initial diagnosis. She was steadfast in her faith until her last breath and was surrounded by friends and family at that moment.
We take comfort in knowing that her faith prepared her for the inevitable. We take pride in knowing her life was spent helping everyone she came in contact with, including strangers.
