Add Credit to Continue: Morristown Game Vault

My name is David Balsamini, and I am the owner of the Morristown Game Vault located in the charming town of Morristown, New Jersey.  Being extremely passionate about creating a fun inviting space where the community could come together and celebrate a love of gaming, I opened the Morristown Game Vault to inclusively encourage big kids at heart and people of all ages to rediscover the joys of social interaction uniquely created by the thrill of an old school arcade.

Since opening in March 2016, the Morristown Game Vault has been an amazing space to help the community celebrate the nostalgic video game gems of the past. Through birthday parties, Summer Camps, bachelor/bachelorette parties, special Cosplay events, theme parties, community fundraising, pinball tournaments, client appreciation, and team building events, our one-of-a kind space has been an invaluable addition to the Morristown community and beyond.

During this unprecedented time, it is with a heavy heart that we confront the reality that COVID-19 has made it extremely difficult to maintain our operations due to the statewide closure of amusement centers and large venues. At this time, we appeal to the generosity of our awesome gamers and all those who have come through our doors to celebrate essential milestones to help support us in this time of need.

Although we are currently closed, upon reopening there will be many restrictions that will hinder our ability to financially recuperate for months to come without your assistance. Any financial contributions would be greatly appreciated, as this would directly go towards addressing current, future, and outstanding operational costs. We sincerely thank you for your support over the past four years in creating amazing memories. We look forward to getting back on our feet and will be overjoyed to see familiar faces young and old once our doors reopen.

Update 6-19-20

We are so blown away at the response and support since we started the “Add Credit to Continue” Morristown Game Vault fundraiser. So many people have reached out by email, voicemail, Facebook, and Instagram checking in to see how we are and if we know when we might open. We are still waiting on an opening date from the NJ Government.  The donations have been so much help getting us through this shutdown. We look forward to your smiling faces and rewarding laughs once we open. When we do open we will be at limited capacity so the struggle will continue. But with such a strong supporting gaming community, we can do it!  We have a mystery pinball on loan for a few months that you will enjoy!
