Aid To Ukraine

Hi All. Most of you will know that Louise and I have been lucky to host several Ukrainian ladies be safe from the terrible war in Ukraine. All have now moved on to continue their lives and now we want to do some more for our new found friends and family in Ukraine. The war in Ukraine is taking a terrible toll on families, many whom have lost loved ones, homes and in reality everything. Winter is also here where temperatures plunge to minus 30 and beyond. In simple terms they need our help.

I was lucky enough to go on the most recent Cornwall & Devon sending love to Ukraine trip delivering aid for Ukraine. The You Tube video shows some of this. Trip 18 goes on the 17th Dec which I am going to join. Hopefully we will be back for Christmas.

The drivers pay for their own van, accommodation, ferry, food and fuel on the 2,500 mile round trip. Each van (2 drivers) is C£1,800/£2,000 per trip.

What am I raising funds for, for the trip. Any funds raised will go to the cost of my and the other driver costs. I will personally match any donations towards my costs.

If we exceed the target funds will be held to fund the next trip in February.

If you would prefer to give aid rather than funds then the most needed items are Nappies, Baby Formula, Incontinence Pads, Sleeping Bags, First Aid, Power Banks (to charge lap tops/ phones) and generators. Can either drop off at Louise & I or drop off at The Emporium in Callington.

If you would like to donate a van it would be great. Must be roadworthy etc for the 2500 miles!
