Everlasting charity for Mohammed Anwar.

Inna lillahi wa inna lillahi rajioon - 'Verily we belong to Allah and Verily to Him we shall return.'

We lost the pillar of our family on Tuesday 1st March - a father, uncle and a grandad to many. He was loved and his departure has left us all empty.

Mohammed Anwar, my father was a very caring, loving and protective figure in our life; a person who has lost a parent can only know the hole it leaves in your heart and the agonising pain one endures. The memories, the laughs and the stories of my dad are never ending and will remain with us forever.

My beloved dad always put others before himself and kept everyone smiling. Those that know him will know what a selfless and kind-hearted man he was. He was a big charity giver helping widows, struggling families, single parents and those who did not get the simple benefits of food and water.

I'm currently in Pakistan for my dad's funeral and one of the things my dad now needs is his sadka jaariya to be continued. Therefore, I am kindly requesting you would help and support me to carry on his charity work and help those in need. We aim to provide food packs and water pumps during Ramadan for the less fortunate to make sure they are fed well and have access to clean water. My dad would have loved this and as a family we are all so proud of whatever he has done and want to continue this for him.

In the Quran, Allah (swt) says: “Help one another in acts of piety and righteousness. And do not assist each other in acts of sinfulness and transgression. And be aware of Allah. Verily, Allah is severe in punishment” (Quran 5:2).
